paint palette

though both sketchbooks are still in michigan, and i can't really work in one until one swans back to ohio, i have been doing some small scale work with color. here's a glimpse at the paint palette i used for some tiny valentines i made.
as you can see from a lot of the rest of this blog, the conversation between us (artists!) is one in color and texture... so here's some color and a little texture for your to rest your eyes on while you wait for an update on the books. =)
acrylic paint + gel medium + recycling a tray from a supermarket = photo op.

Taking good care of our babies? I think they have rested long enough and need a little action... What say you? Play around and then send them back... and then I will put my finishing touches on the two of them... and then send back for you to put your finishing touches on them... and then we'll call it a "Finished Project"! Woot. I am already beginning to "prep" our next "ROUND TWO" journal project.
